What is ToPoLa?

The basketball club Touhun Pojat Lauttasaari, known as ToPoLa, has been active in Helsinki's Lauttasaari district since 1978. ToPoLa fosters a warm sense of community, providing a safe and supportive environment for youth to grow and develop, as well as a relaxed and long-term hobby for adults.

ToPoLa has over 35 teams, around 60 coaches, and nearly 700 members. You are warmly welcome to join us!

We offer basketball clubs for the youngest family members, junior teams for school-aged children and youth, and adult teams of various skill levels. Feel free to contact us at toimisto@topola.fi if you'd like to join us for a free two-week trial period. You are warmly welcome!

 

Quit basketball at ToPoLa

If you wish to quit basketball at ToPoLa, please fill out the cancellation form: Lopettaminen - Touhun Pojat Lauttasaari ToPoLa ry . If you do not wish to commit to the upcoming fall season's fee, please submit the cancellation form by the end of July. If you do not wish to commit to the upcoming spring season's fee, please submit the cancellation form by the end of December.

 

About season fees

The season fee includes:

  • Fixed training sessions for the fall and spring seasons
  • Registration for league competitions in the federation and regional leagues
  • Coaching, coach compensation, licenses, and training
  • Transfers to ToPoLa
  • Club membership benefits
  • Club-wide events
  • Club administrative services
  • Referee fees
  • The opportunity for juniors to participate in the club's Open Gym sessions

The season fee does not include:

  • Gym sessions outside of regular training times and related coach compensation
  • Camp and tournament costs
  • Player licenses and insurance fees
  • Player insurance
  • Playing kits and other similar equipment
  • National team fees
  • Club membership fees

Discounts on the season fee: 

If you get injured or fall ill during the season, you can receive a refund for the season fee after a one-month deductible by contacting toimisto@topola.fi. If you are facing financial difficulties, you can apply for support for the season fee from the Tom Hynninen Fund: Tom Hynnisen rahasto - Touhun Pojat Lauttasaari ToPoLa ry .

 

Extending the payment deadline:

If you would like to request an extension for the club's invoices, please contact ToPoLa's office (toimisto@topola.fi) well in advance of the invoice due date.
